The numbers
What I do
Six things, done well
Documents and models written to be read by someone whose job is to find the weak point: an endorsing body, a lender or an investor.
-
Business plans
Full plans for founders who need to persuade an endorsing body, a lender or an investor, with the narrative and the numbers written together.
-
Financial models
Forecasts built so that every figure traces back to an assumption you can defend. This is the part of a plan most likely to fail diligence.
-
Feasibility studies
Whether the venture works before the money is spent: market, cost and operating assumptions tested against evidence.
-
Investor materials
Pitch decks and the supporting numbers behind them.
-
Visa business plans
Plans for the UK Innovator Founder route, the US E-2 and EB-5 routes and others. I have been through the UK route myself, assessed and passed by endorsing bodies twice.
-
Cost-to-start research
For US founders and SBA loan applicants, built from primary sources such as SBA SOP 50 10 8.1.

Published by the Institute of Physics, aged 20
Classical Mechanics: A professor-student collaboration was published by IOP Publishing, ISBN 978-0-7503-2688-9, edited by Prof Mario Campanelli, with six UCL students as co-authors, and typeset in LaTeX by the students. Presented at the CERN Library's online book presentation on 4 November 2020, with Prof Campanelli and all six student co-authors listed as speakers. It is now prescribed reading at UCL. That summer, worked as a physics and gameplay developer at UnifiQ Games, building the physics for an educational sandbox game in Unreal Engine.
